Part Manager: part selection
The PRIMS Pro® Part Manager allows the operator to locate and select which part to process. A flexible search mechanism is provided for searching through large quantities of parts. Part Queuing, in which parts are entered and set up prior to processing or while processing existing parts, is a new feature of PRIMS Pro®.
The path-specific active part of the current work cell is displayed, including properties, process options, and cycle time status, and identifies the interactive components found on the setup screen.
Each part can have multiple optional motion control or surface process functions defined. This feature is particularly useful in maintenance operations where only certain portions of the part may need to be processed. The operator simply toggles each function or surface on or off. This data is then passed to the nozzle motion controller, which will only run those selected functions or surfaces.
