Progressive Surface's Saturation Curve Solver software for shot peening generates a best fit saturation curve.
As sufficient data is entered, the solver generates a saturation curve that is a best fit for the data points selected, showing the T1 and T2 points as well as the process time or feedrate for saturation. The specified intensity range is highlighted in yellow to easily identify if the calculated intensity is within specification. Results that do not meet the 10% rule or are outside of the specified range are clearly identified. A printable report may also be generated, displaying all of the process data along with the saturation curve.
