Crankshaft HVOF Coating System

This unique and highly automated system is designed for application of HVOF coatings on crankshaft journals and pins for repair operations. The system is sized for cranks up to 164 inches (4.17 m) long and up to 4000 pounds (1815 kg). A shuttle system moves a lathe fixture first into the grit blast booth for surface preparation, and then into the HVOF booth.
