Large Format Waterjet Coating Removal System

This is a very large format waterjet cell. With a front door opening of 14 feet wide by 8 feet tall and a total depth of the enclosure of 15 feet, a wide variety of parts can be accommodated. To service the entire enclosed space, the Fanuc arm robot has been inverted and mounted to a linear axis with a stroke of 10 feet. The rail system is located on the roof of the cabinet away from the harsh process environment. There is a rail system embedded in the cabinet’s raised floor to hold parts statically inside the cabinet plus a programmable spindle for rotating parts.

The system includes a process water chiller and filtration system for zero water discharge.
