Suspension Plasma Spray Booths for Production
Robot moves plasma gun between two spray chambers, each with special work table and robotic cooling
Two adjacent spray booths provide a high production SPS coating cell. The 100HE® plasma spray gun is manipulated by a spray robot between the two booths. While spraying occurs in one booth, the other booth is loaded by the operator. Auto doors separate the booths. Part cooling in each booth is provided by two integrated Cold Jet dry ice systems.
- Three integrated ABB robots and controllers
- Tilt turntables in each spray booth feature 12 satellite spindles that can index and rotate
- Cold Jet cooling manipulated by cooling robot
- 100HE plasma spray gun, Liquifeeder HE, and CITS-Pro control system
- Dust collector system
