Progressive Adds New Abrasive Waterjet Cutting Capability

Progressive Surface is pleased to announce the addition of an Omax 60120 Waterjet Cutting System to our production capabilities. The Omax 60120 offers a large cutting envelope (62” x 126”), a 60,000 psi EnduroMAX pump, and software to cut directly from a CAD file. From simple parts to complex shapes, the Waterjet process offers extreme versatility and a number of advantages over traditional milling:
- Cut virtually any material including plastic, rubber, tool steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, hardened parts, aluminum, titanium, and glass.
- Cut metals without creating a Heat-Affected Zone at the cut line.
