Low pressure waterjet removes manufacturing imperfections from critical surfaces

The waterjet process can solve a wide range of manufacturing challenges. This system replaces a time-consuming manual operation with a more ergonomically friendly design. The operator can load a fixture of parts stacked to the manipulator’s capacity and select a process recipe from the touch panel controller. The waterjet nozzle manipulator sets the spindle offset and travels along the outside diameter to remove slag and machining layout fluid. The pump can generate a flow of up to 12 gpm at 15,000 psi.
