High Pressure Waterjet for Engine Silicone Removal

This large CNC controlled waterjet machine is designed to remove RTV Silicone and similar coatings from the surfaces of military aircraft engine components as part of the overhaul process.  The rotating waterjet nozzle can be directed to the part by CNC program or in a semi-manual mode which enables the operator to jog the nozzle into position and run the process for a defined period of time.  The system is equipped with a positive displacement pump capable of 20,000 psi water at 12 gallons per minute.

The system includes a process water filtration system prior to discharge into the plant’s water handling system.  The system can handle parts up to 80 inches in diameter and 54 inches tall weighing up to 1,000 pounds.
