This ultra high pressure water jet cleaning system is designed to remove coatings from aircraft engine components including Fan Cases up to 128" (3.3m) diameter and 48" (1.2m) tall. It offers 7-axes of robotic controlled coordinated waterjet cleaning motion. Nozzle motions are achieved using a Fanuc articulated arm robot that has been inverted and mounted to the ceiling of the process cabinet. Special large waste handling provisions are made to facilitate the removal of large debris created when cleaning fan cases.
